— Coordination. One of the most common posts we see in wedding forums from couples in the months leading up their wedding is the desire to hire day of wedding coordinators to help with setup/teardown and keeping the day on track. A common price range for wedding coordinators in West Michigan is $1500 – $2000, especially if they’re including some of the month of coordination that can make a huge difference. If your wedding venue costs $1000 less at the time of booking, but you end up hiring a coordinator later, you’re likely paying $500 – $1000 more than a venue that includes full coordination in their wedding packages. Leona Road includes full coordination in all of our packages. This means we’ll help with your day-of-timeline, vendor recommendations, vendor coordination, all setup and teardown and management of your full event.
— Add-ons. A common pricing strategy for wedding venues is to keep the up front cost lower, but increase the cost of backend costs you’ll need such as rentals, coordination, and bar packages. Leona Road is a mostly all-inclusive venue meaning almost everything you’ll need is included in the up front cost. The rentals we do have are typically optional and are also expenses you’ll likely have through other vendors. All furniture, outdoor seating, ceremony and rehearsal is included in our flat rate. While we do have dinnerware available for rent, we offer this at the same cost (and sometimes less) than what you’d be paying your caterer. But it also includes our Photo booth which would likely save you $1000-$1500 on your wedding budget.
— Bar Packages. Leona Road has a competitive bar packages that are often $7-$8/head lower than local rates which could save over $1000 on your package. This is partly driven by our commitment to fair market rates, but also through our efficiency which eliminates waste. By offering eight beers with every package at every event, we use every ounce of every keg so nothing gets thrown away. Less waste means lower costs which helps you save.
